The video
below should help you judge your level. If the demonstrated
moves look too easy the class may be too easy. If the moves
look difficult but what you want to learn then your level
is perfect because this class is for total beginners! No experience
necessary! The video demonstrates body isolations and talks
about the class curriculum.

Below Amina demonstrates a choreography to the song "Stronger"
By Kanye West. She teaches this short choreography to her
beginners and although it looks difficult, they are able to
do it becuase of their new knowledge of body isolations, rolls,
and basic arm and chest chest popping. Below this video is
a link to learn the dance online for students who want to
practice.
Below
Amina does a Beginners zumba style dance with her students.
The dance fuses Indian Dance, Latin Dance, and Hip Hop all
in one to provide constant movement, repetition, excercise,
and practice for the students. (Yes it is co-ed, guys do these
moves too!) This is the second time the students ever did
this particular dance yet it it repetitive and uses moves
that were broken down earlier in class so they catch on quickly.
Nefertena
Francis, a Hip Hop & Fusion teaching assistant performs
& teachers her own hip hop choreography. The students
cheered when they first saw it! The students also have a private
link to practice the dance with her with counts and music
and with counts and no music.
