Below is a video of Amina's Fusion Solo Dance. She also performed
this same dance recently at the Kennedy Center for
the show Fusion 2007: A Reflection of South Asia
drum solo dance. She has also performed this dance at the
World Bank and at different birthday parties and cultural
shows. It is a fusion of Belly Dance, Classical Indian Dance,
Bollywood Dance, and a little bit of Hip Hop popping!

taught to students whose levels ranged from Beginners to Advanced.
The dance is a rare fusion of Belly, Indian, Swing, Flamenco,

Below is a 2008 video from a performance at Muqabla 2008 held
at the University of Maryland. The dance was performed and
choreographed by school director Amina
Vohra, assistant teacher Nefertena
Francis, and former ballet and hip hop fusion teacher
Amber Miller. The video is a
bit shaky for the first 10 seconds and the lighting colors
change a bit too much but it gives you an idea!
